book review: Little Pear

This book is so funny.  It is about a little Chinese boy named 'Little Pear' who is 6 years old.  He is very mischievous and sometimes a little bit naughty.  This is the second book I have read by Eleanor Frances Lattimore, and this 2nd book is more about Little Pears friends & his little brother too.  I like that Little Pear is always trying to help, although he isn't always as helpful as he means to be.  Each of the stories made me laugh as I was reading it.  I think anyone would like reading this book, because it's so funny and his adventures are so exciting.

The first book is called "Little Pear" and it is more about his life in the village and his first adventures.  My favorite adventure was when he hid in a pile of vegetables that his father was going to sell in the city.  This first book is also really funny!  I hope you can find these books at the library, because they are really great.  I also really like the illustrations.

Hi - Asia is 9, she's our daughter. She really loves reading books! I am trying to get her to write more about the things she reads, and right now -- these book reviews are working! I just ask her questions, and type while she talks! We hope you can find some of these to read ~ they really are great books!

Oh, I wish I had known about these stories when we studied China last year! Well, any time is a good time to read a good book. Thanks for the reviews, Asia.
