First the BAD NEWS. As you might have heard, EAA Young Eagles flights will NOT be offered at the April 17, 2010 Watsonville Day in the Sky. So we are VERY sorry but we will not be flying young people this year. We have run free flights for young people with disabilities for 5 straight years, and at least 2000 people have flown with us through the years. But in our 6th year, liability hassles forced us to take a breather from offering free flights this year. But we are working to straighten out liability hassles, and we expect to resume Young Eagles flights next year.

BUT here's the GOOD NEWS... The festival still goes on, actually bigger and better than ever, even without Young Eagles flights. In fact, pilots are flying in from all over Northern California to park their aircraft and load kids into cockpits for pictures etc. In fact, since we don't have to worry about too many kids showing up and overwhelming our pilots for free flights, we are pulling out the stops to reach out to every school on the Central Coast and invite kids from every source we can think of.

So we hope you will join us for this year's amazing event.

Free tethered HOT AIR BALLOON Rides all day!! Even though airplanes aren't flying, BALLOONS will be!
Free BBQ at lunchtime.
